The round construction and S shape helps the loom to accommodate a lot of stitches, also ensuring a smooth finish. Afghan shawls and blankets or bigger things are mostly knit on such looms. You would however find it a little difficult to wrap the yarn on the loom using your fingers and can put the wool inside a pen, thick straw or anything else that would help you to hold it with ease.
